New Bike Launch Soon
Reports suggest that Royal Enfield is preparing to launch a new bike in the Indian market soon. The company is expected to bring the Interceptor Bear 650 in the 650cc segment. However, no official confirmation regarding the launch has been made by the company yet.
Leaked Information
Ahead of the bike’s launch, several images have been leaked on social media. These leaked photos provide insights into the design, features, and colors of the bike. The new Interceptor Bear 650 is expected to be introduced with a dual-tone color theme. The leaked images show parts like the fuel tank in a combination of white and yellow.
Expected Features
As per the leaked photos, the bike will feature spoke wheels instead of alloy wheels. this bike will come equipped with disc brakes on the front and rear wheels. Additional features include dual-channel ABS, LED lights, a round-shaped speedometer, a scrambler-style seat, and USD forks.
Engine Specifications
The new bike will be launched in the 650cc segment and is expected to be powered by a 648cc air/oil-cooled engine, delivering 47 BHP and 52.3 Nm of torque. The bike also will come with 6-speed gearbox.
Existing 650cc Bikes
Royal Enfield already offers several bikes in the 350cc to 650cc range. Currently, in the 650cc segment, the company sells models like Shotgun 650, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, and Continental GT 650. These bikes are priced between ₹3.21 lakh and ₹3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The new bike is expected to be priced around INR 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom price).
Expected Launch Date
While the company has not provided any official information regarding the bike’s launch, media reports suggest that the new bike may be introduced in India by November 2024.
